A Humble Honor
It is not just a responsibility, but a humble honor and a privilege to broadcast the WORD of God over the airwaves to listeners. KRSA is a God owned and servant operated radio station first.
Secondly, It takes a team that is wise as serpents and gentle as doves to stand in honor of the "Great Commission;
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Thirdly, each of us are humble, living examples of God's love and great mercies toward His loved ones. We extend that blessing to each and every person that works and volunteers at KRSA.
We do not discriminate against race, gender, religious denomination or physical disability.
Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit after He acsended, to all who accept and believe in Him.
The team at KRSA is more than a team. We are a family and we work as a family. Our staff meetings are opened and closed with prayer. Daily, we ask God to direct our paths and to bless our endeavors as we broad "cast" His Word to Southeast Alaska and the world.

Volunteer Positions Available
Answer telephones: from 7am -9am during the live morning show.
Production talent: KRSA is always looking for fresh new voices for commercials and public service announcements. This is a very fun position if you don't mind being recorded!
Music categorizing: listen to new music as it coming into the KRSA music vault and categorize it in the appropriate genre.
Stuff envelopes: At the end of every month when we do staements and invoices, an extra hand would be grately appreciated.
Fundraiser volunteers: we can always have a 'pool of people' to call that can help with fundraisers. Setting up tables and displays, sometimes traveling to other towns for an event,helping to coordinate events, and really good ideas for more fundraisers!
