"The Narrow Way" Morning show

“The Narrow Way” is an exclusive morning show aired weekdays 7 am - 9 am on KRSA Petersburg, 580 AM and on 94.9 FM in Sitka, Wrangell and Haines and produced by Insight Passage Productions an independent production company owned by Ed and Milinda May.

The first hour of “The Narrow Way” (7 AM - 8 AM) is devoted to the Spiritual life of our listeners. It features UNI news (4 minutes) at the top of the hour then a live full Regional weather forecast and the Bulletin Board (6 minutes). Next is a 5-7 minute recorded Bible reading which started in Genesis and will continue through Revelation. Then there’s a daily morning devotional delivered by co-host Lizeth Hernandez (18 minutes) followed by a brief Regional weather forecast. The First hour ends with a 20 minute interview featuring a Regional Minister, Missionary, Religious leader, elder, layperson, theologian or scholar.  

The second hour (8 AM - 9 AM) begins with the UNI news, regional weather, then a 20 minute interview with a Regional guest that focuses on Regional Topics such as energy, the economy, transportation, travel, tourism, economic development and  Social issues (i.e. alcohol and drug addiction, domestic violence, depression, suicide, family relations, politics, medicine) that affects and impacts the lives of Southeast Alaskan residents. Next is a short Regional Weather update, then a  movie, book, or website review and it ends with “Key Life”.

* SPECIAL NOTE *

The Narrow Way morning show has been discontinued until January 2012. After the new year has arrived, Narrow Way is scheduled to resume at a new time and with a new format!
